Film screening «Those Who Remain»
Join us for a screening of Those Who Remain (2016), a Lebanese documentary by Eliane Raheb, organized by [un] Framespace in collaboration with Daphne Kokkini vom Kollektiv Theater STOK.
Set in the far north of Lebanon, near the Syrian border, the film follows Haykal, a 60-year-old farmer living in Shambouq. He builds his home, farm, and small restaurant with his own hands, facing daily challenges with determination and resilience in a complex landscape.
The 95-minute screening will be followed by a discussion and a small homemade apéro, offering a welcoming space for exchange and conversation.
